Deployment Scenarios

Centerium supports two types of deployment models:

• Single-tier - Both Centerium and the application database management system (DBMS) are installed on the same host computer

• Two-tier - Centerium and its DMBS are installed on separate host computer



Deployment Diagram 2: Two-tier Deployment

Two-tier deployment is scalable and allows deployment of more than one Centerium instance connected to an application’s DBMS.
